Queries & Research

The Information and Referral Network is a service offered by the League of California Community Foundations. The purpose of the Network is to provide and facilitate the exchange of information and resources among League members.

Summaries of prior Information and Referral Network queries and the resources collected are organized by topic area in Resources.

To utilize the Network, simply e-mail your request to Sheila Miller at sheila@lccf.dev with the following information:

  • Your Name
  • Foundation Name
  • Description of the information you are requesting
  • Time frame that you would like to receive response

Please make sure you write “I & R Request” in the subject line. Staff will review your request and, if needed, contact you for clarification. With this in mind, please be sure your contact information is clear and accurate.

If the materials you requested are available in the League’s Resources, they will be forwarded to you via e-mail, fax or regular mail, depending on the nature of the materials requested. If we do not have the materials you have requested on hand, League staff will survey the League members or refer you to other sources with knowledge and expertise in the area of your request.

The League receives many requests for information resources and referrals, and staff handles them as promptly as possible. However, if you desire your information within a specific time frame, please make sure to note that date in your request.

Questions about the Information and Referral Network can be directed to the League Office 209.984.3955
