Bakersfield, Calif., January 23, 2015 – The Board of Directors of Kern Community Foundation announced today that Jeffrey R. Pickering has resigned as president and CEO after five years of leading the organization. Pickering is leaving at the end of May to become CEO of the Indian River Community Foundation in Vero Beach, Florida, and to be closer to his family in Central Florida.

VENTURA COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SELECTS ITS NEXT CEO

 

CAMARILLO, Calif. (Jan. 8, 2015) – Vanessa Bechtel has been named President and CEO of the Ventura County Community Foundation by VCCF’s board of directors.

Feb. 9 will be the first day on the job for Bechtel, who most recently served as Executive Director of the more than $50 million SBCC Foundation.
